Phat Fiber samples

What is Phat Fiber? Phat Fiber is a mystery box of awesome samples for the yarn and fiber enthusiast in us all. With a focus on the independant artisan, this box is a super grass-roots treat for the senses. When your box arrives, chock full of samples, expect to be overwhelmed with the sight and feel of artful yarns, bits of roving, small batts, stitch markers, original patterns, valuable discount coupons and much much more. Inside, you could find anything that yarn and fiber enthusiasts would love...even an herbal tea or two! Phat Fiber seeks to bridge the gap between talented online artisans and consumers hungry to support the independent small business.

I am a contributor to the Phat Fiber sampler box, providing 15 yard mini-skeins for knitters and small bags of my raw Handspinner's Blend for spinners and fiber artists. Of course it is impossible for every box recipient to receive one of every sample that is contributed, hence the exciting question, 'what's in YOUR box?' Each box will contain a different selection of samples, although I do make sure that there are enough of my monthly coupons for everyone to receive.

If you missed out on my samples in your box, you can purchase them here. The price includes shipping, and payment is safely and securely made through PayPal, exactly the same as my Etsy store. Please note that the samples will only be available during their featured month. For example, the samples I contribute for the January box will only be available during the month of January. I also make sure that the full sized versions of my products are available in my Etsy store by the time the monthly box is sent out to recipients.

January 2009 Box - theme: Wintery Mix
For this box I contributed samples of my 'Winter Sky' yarn and Handspinner's Blend, consisting of white prime blanket alpaca fiber from Julia and black satin angora bunny fiber from Nomi, with a touch of silver angelina to give it sparkle. This blend is incredibly soft and can be worn directly against the skin. NOTE: these items will be shipped AFTER 15 January!
